Today I am sharing my favourite chicken curry which is simple to cook and tastes delicious spicy gravy.
Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Chicken curry:
- 500 gms chicken
- 1 bay leave
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 7-8 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tsp ghati masala
- As per Taste Salt
- 2 tsp chicken masala
- As required Water for gravy
Instructions to make to make Chicken curry
- Firstly, Wash chicken in running water 3-4 times nicely. Then add enough water in a pan and being or to boil. Add chicken and boil for 5 minutes. Drain off the water and keep the chicken aside.

- Add ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ghati masala, and grind this in a mixer.



- Heat oil in a pressure cooker add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and saute for few seconds. Then add the above paste and chicken. Cook chicken on medium-high flame for 20 minutes. Keep stirring chicken in between.



- Add chicken masala, chopped onion and tomatoes, and salt, and mix everything. Cook for 10 minutes on medium-low flame.



- Add water as required for gravy and pressure cook for 3 whistles.


- Chicken curry is ready. Garnished with coriander leaves and Serve hot with roti or rice.
